SNOW
Well, it’s after 3 am here, and it has begun to snow! Hopefully this will be a “nice” storm without any major catastrophic events.
Parenting and Hate Crimes by Children
If I could have what ever I wanted it would be that people would have the necessary manners to navigate daily life. That parents would take the time to be aware of and teach proper and well-mannered behavior. Good manners can take one so much further even if they lack education because good manners will always prevail in almost any “what should I do” situation. ALL parents need to realize that a compassionate approach toward their children will always make for a well-adjusted child. If you care enough about them, you’ll take the proper measures to educate them in the ways of the world and give them the necessary means to navigate socially with their peers. AND IF they would give more of their time and truly care, they would see that their children WANT to be engaged. Simply set your “hostile religious beliefs” aside so you can listen without judgment. You’ll find more often than not a child, and eventually a teen that can easily steer clear of the trappings of social fixations and unacceptable lifestyles (drugs, unprotected sex, HATE!) Parents need to remember that they too were children once, and even if their childhood was not the best; making a difference in their own children will always be for the better of mankind and their own individual future. WHO will take care of you when you are old? How well you take care of your children is a pretty good indication of how well they will take care of you later in life. How have YOU made a difference in a child’s life? Do you really try to be the very best that you can always be? Parents need to realize that giving of their time to their children (and all children) is always time well spent. THEY look to us for guidance. What do people, especially children see when they look at YOU?
